Blue Valley Golf & Country Club is the home for the REGCOMS Charity Golf Day hosted by Reggie Marimuthu. This year the golf day is in support of the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.
CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation was established in 1979 by parents of children with cancer. Their aim is to ease the burden on parents and families facing the same journey by providing access to relevant, accurate information, as well as emotional and practical support. CHOC is the only organisation in South Africa that provides comprehensive countrywide support for children with cancer, life-threatening blood disorders and their families. We have a national office in Johannesburg, six regional offices, one branch, and 12 accommodation facilities close to treatment centres. CHOC relies on corporate sponsors and donations from groups or individuals wanting to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer.
The field boasts some of the leading corporate, gaming and hospitality companies, which includes Sun International, Emerald Resort & Casino, Sun City Vacation Club, Sun City, Time Square Casino, Emperors Palace, Carnival City, Rand Merchant Bank, Assupol, AtPaint, Pexmart, Jetpatcher and UniMedia Pro.
The name Reggie Marimuthu CEO of REGCOMS is known in many sectors of corporate and hospitality and is respected and applauded for his contribution to the service of CSI organisations in South Africa and does this through organising charity golf events. This is the very reason why the Board of Directors at Blue Valley Golf & Country Club enjoys being the venue host for the REGCOMS Charity.
Reggie Marimuthu brings with him a ‘rainbow nation of leaders’, a reflection of the man behind the wheel driving these initiatives through charity golf into the hearts of all those who cross his path.
