The Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobili Club was established in 1967 as a Ferrari Owners Club only. The original founders were also the founders of the Kyalami Racing Circuit and their history is a long and proud one.
The club arranges many events during the year from Breakfast runs, trips around the country, Kyalami Circuit, Ferrari Appreciation Events and many more social events.
Each year on the 23 September, Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobili Club celebrates “Experience Day”. This year is their 50 Years celebration at the Shell V-Power SEFAC Experience Day 2017 which took place at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
Rob Dalton’s Sun International is en route with the Ferrari Club chairperson Giorgio Cavalier in his 599 GTB to Khysna and stopping along the road to allow the public to enjoy the sight of the fleet of Ferrari’s, learn more about the history of the car and thrills and spills with friends.“One Saturday each month we have 12 Ferraris branded for racing with Pablo Clark and we have access to Jaki and Ian Scheckter, as well as ‘Hot Laps’ at Swartkops Raceway – International World of Motoring, all lined up for our clients” says Dalton
Dalton reiterated that one of Sun International’s focus; is in understanding the value of relations that exist in the South African World of Sports and it’s ambassadors and to tap into their reservoir of experience and excellence. The support and appreciation from South Africans in the form of fans and followers is what keeps these sports ambassadors inspired and motivated. A public display of these sorts are exciting and allows for one to look into this sport with fascination and delight.
