Corporate Responds to “Child Survivors of Crime” Golf Event

The SAIS Charity Golf Day held on the 5 May 2017 proved to be another memorable time for the organisers, players and for the beneficiary of the event “Child Survivors of Crime”. Major Amin Chua Abdullah, MD of Mifrajaya Development SA and developer of Blue Valley Golf Estate was very pleased with the outcome of the day and the camaraderie shown by everyone. Major Amin added:“The course was set up to allow the players to enjoy their golf and allowing them to see the full stature of Blue Valley Golf Estate as an ideal golfing home in Tshwane.”

Golf won the day whilst all the attention was pointed towards the purpose of the event “Child Survivors of Crime”. One could feel the overwhelm of emotion and heavy hearts as the horror stories were shared by the representative of  “Child Survivors of Crime”. Too many incidents go by unnoticed and the trauma and abuse of these children affected by it stands voiceless and without face. Organisations like “Child Survivors of Crime” were honoured today for their selfless services and ensuring that the people of South Africa understand the nature of this epidemic and the long term effects.
Reggie Marimuthu the organiser of SAIS Charity Golf Day thanked all the attendees and shed some light into the partnerships forged during this event. He could not express enough gratitude for everyone who supported the event. Another high note of the evening was the prize giving, which was cheered with laughter and compliments. Finally the winners were announced and the honour and bragging rights belonged to Sun City Vacation Club. Another great event proving that golfing and giving are complimentary on all levels with the right people driving a good cause, pun intended!
