Carrie Park set for SA Women’s Open

Carrie Park arrives at Wild Coast Sun ahead of the SA Women’s Open confident and excited to continue the form she has shown leading up to her win at the SA Women’s Masters.

Carrie Park plays her golf out of Irene Country Club in Pretoria and already boast making a hole-in-one at the club. At the age of 17 – years – old Carrie’s victory at the Sanlam SA Amateur Stroke Play Championship took her to the number one spot in the Women’s Golf South Africa Senior Rankings.


Park also won the 2013 Gauteng Junior Championship and achieved seven top five finishes that year and in 2016 Carrie Park fired a flawless seven-under-par 65 in her opening round at  the IGT Tour’s Race to Q-School #2 at Waterkloof Country Club

In 2016 Sunshine Ladies Tour season, Carrie Park led the Rookie Race, but was eventually beaten to the title by LPGA Tour rookie Bertine Strauss.
