Unimedia Pro’s PinkStig Invitational sets the backdrop to Sally Little’s induction into the SA Hall of Fame on the 28th November at Sun City. “Sally Little will be the first female legendary golfer inductee and next year South Africans will also be witnessing Gary Player’s induction. So it will be a full circle for two of South Africa’s greatest stars who has carried the SA flame for over 5 decades in professional golf.” says Rob Dalton of Sun International.
Zahira Hansa CEO of UniMedia Pro added: “The occasion sets itself apart from others for recognising Sally’s contribution to women’s professional golf globally and for being the only SA golfer to have won 15 LPGA events and two majors during her 45 years as a professional golfer.”
October month UniMedia Pro together with Sun International and City of Cape Town celebrated Sally Little’s book launch ‘Capturing the Fire’ and a screening of her biography on SuperSport.
The evening will be graced with 15 South Africa women’s professional golfers and 5 overseas players ( Korea, Russia, India, England and Nambia). With the field a plenty in talent, the evening is befitting for SA Hall of Fame to honour Sally in the presence of our future and present champions.
A huge milestone for women golfers, we could not ask for a better gala dinner setting with Sun International, our venue sponsors, after completing a 18 hole course at Lost City.
Johnny Burger the chairperson of SA Hall of Fame says regarding the induction ceremony: “We strive to tell the stories of extraordinary achievers. To celebrate the holistic accomplishments of the individual and not only their talent, skill and successes. Through this we strive to inspire individuals to dream, and reach their full potential which in turn puts them in the positions to make a difference in South Africa. Also to aspire to excellence on all fronts and to be authentic and true to oneself, which will pave the way for a content human being and to leaving a legacy.”
Our mantra: “Celebrate. Inspire. Empower” says Johnny Burger
