As a non golfer the experience at the Little Pace Challenge was incredible. The venue at Valdevie Estate was amazing and bringing the legend Sally Little and the current champion Lee-Anne Pace made it so special as these women are so talented in their space and so humble, including the women PRO GOLFERS. Everything was organized in detail, loved the golf gear especially the pink belts and what touched by heart was to see little Zimkita on the golf course.
She is so focused and passionate about golf and I believe seeing her grow in the golfing space would be incredible. We need to get more corporates and men golfing teams to assist women to grow and women should be recognized and be treated equally on the earnings in their respective sport .
Moving forward, I would like to see the likes of media platforms get involved such as Talk 702 or Hot 91.9 to further raise awareness and sponsorship for women golfers. Another fun golfing event could be night golf…….
We at Skyler Tee, a De Beers initiative would like to assist women in golf where we can by producing a Pink Gems jewelry range that compliments the PINKSTIG and hence channel more valued sponsorship through the sales of this unique jewelry range.
It was amazing to see the progolfer, Lejan Laithwaite’s joy when winning the diamond we sponsored for this event. This is a good platform for association of our brand as female golfers can wear our products proudly especially since we are a proudly South African company.
