Michelle Leigh Centurion Country Club

Today at Centurion County Club was an interesting one. It was a freezing cold more with frost covered fairways but was excited to get going. Was lying tied 13th going into the round on -1. It was an up and down start with 4 bogeys and 3 birdies to a start and my first par only coming on the 8th hole. I turned +1 for the day after 9 and determined to bring back the shot.

The course setup wasn’t difficult but wind was the challenge of the day. I managed to steady myself after a bogey at 10 and a birdie at 12 with 3 pars until I made bogey on 16 and 17. 18 was playing long today due to the wind. Yesterday I hit driver wedge and today hit driver 6 iron. The wind caught out many players but the scoring was definitely made around the greens. I finished +2 for the day and am heading into day 3 tied 14th on +1. The leading score is currently -5 with 2 rounds to go. Not out of it.
